Wondering.

In omnia paratus stands for "ready for anything".
Is it foolish to think that there would be a time in a life that this could ever be true?
How can you ever possibly be ready for anything?
Life is an unexpected journey that loves to throw detours at you at the chance.
The best you can do is prepare and hope that when the time comes you'll be ready.

Through those twists and turns things change, that's a fact of life.
You laugh, you cry, you get mad, you grow and you come out on the other side stronger than you could have imagined.
Existing wasn't made to be easy, how boring would it be if it were?
It will always be a challenge, but that's what makes it worth living.

In omnia paratus stands for "ready for anything"
perhaps one day that will be true.

Australian or American?

Something really bothered me at work today.

I was in the lunch room and I got a text from Brendan who was in vegas at the time, and someone asked me who it was from, I told her my friend who was in Vegas. She then launched into this great big spiel about how great America is, and spent the next 20 minutes of my lunch break pointing out every flaw that Australian's have.

This really bugged me. If you have such a love for American's, move over there. Don't sit there and point out everything that's better about American's than Australian's. I love Australia, I love the country, I love the people and I love the lifestyle. And when I tried to explain that to her, my opinion was cast off, while hers was thrown down my throat. I also found it very hypocritical, yes it was fine for her to say all of these things, but is she very different? She boasted about how American's will help a stranger off the street blah blah blah and how Australian's won't, but would she actually do this?

I don't really know what the whole point of my writing this is, but it's just been bugging me all day.

Merry christmas everyone.
